"Suru Neighborhood, Bandar Abbas.
"Uncle Ali," the protagonist of this documentary, is a retired fisherman who has spent years fishing and sailing. Now, he is an elderly man, weathered by the rigors of life, and remains as the last remnant of the many fishermen of this neighborhood. Uncle Ali, still attached but disheartened by the palm trees, fish, sea, boats, and ships, spends his days yearning for them. He lives with his wife in a house where corners of the courtyard are reserved for their children. Despite his inclination and by compulsion, the palm trees of the house, one after another, have been trimmed into palm fronds by the hands of a skilled worker.
Although Uncle Ali has eyesight problems, he meticulously paints boats, ships, and fishing vessels on the surface of a wooden board, along with all the details, using palm fronds and paint. These are the vessels he navigated as a fisherman for over forty years, ensuring that his grandchildren and children understand what his work and life were all about."
